在日本，最大的恐懼是什麼？你不妨在澀谷車站口幾看看，人潮以平均一秒兩步的速度把你淹沒，加上起居四坪空間，你會產生自己是「闌尾」的錯覺，松本的成功點在哪裡？他為無數「闌尾」人生發聲，讓他們暫時遠眺自己的平凡，以至於在意識自己困境前，先爽朗地笑出聲來。
你在日本跟台灣提起松本人志這人，會得到截然不同的評價，台灣常看八卦的人，會回答你：「他不是劈腿很多年輕女星嗎？」但在日本，你可能獲得的是裝置藝術家、導演、相聲演員、主持、暢銷作家、作詞人等身分，兩種都是松本的面向，以一個平凡人來說，他的確實現了所謂「平凡」所能渴求的極限，而且他銷售的正是「平凡」。
人有兩種，一種是不甘於平凡，不停地向外抓取與自己無關的「特色」，往自己身上黏貼，那因終不可得，就算爬到一定位置，總有腳懸空的焦躁感，另一種是甘於自己的平凡，因此心平氣和地發現人皆有的愚鈍好笑之處，所以顯得不平凡，因為大多數人都是前者。所以松本人志說：「人的笑點不是營造出來的，是來自於真實的運命，而且一定隔個距離，才會覺得好笑。」這有點像《小說的藝術》說的：「悲劇與喜劇同源，只是觀看者要隔個金魚缸的距離，以為事不關己，才會覺得好笑。」
一個成熟的演藝圈，美貌的人拿來消費，往往真正被褒揚的，卻是後面那個能將「平凡」商品化的人，松本人志上個月幾乎囊括日本各電影雜誌、文學期刊的封面，正因為他導演的處女作《大日本人》，入圍了坎城影展，在各國報導上與北野武並列討論。松本的諧趣在於他很冷靜，他所主持的深夜綜藝《人志松本的不冷場話術》收視居高不下，上他節目必須臨場與他對戰，對日本藝人來說，該節目是個有閱歷才能挑戰的山頭。而他寫的書《松本》《遺書》，雖乍看是自傳體的閒談，都高掛銷售榜。他的語錄不停被整理上網，他的藝術作品也被森美術館展出，命名為「笑的展」，表達的卻是不同的人陷入不同困境中，所做出不同表現，乍看好笑，二看心頭一驚，就如藝評人說的：「松本的作品都是怒氣、悲傷、不解等情緒伴著笑容同時發生的。」
他的《大日本人》乍看很惡搞，一個中年人突然受到奇異能量加持，對抗妖物、保衛和平，特別的是，他也不是噴血袋、搞特效那種，他以紀錄片的形式，看著中年人過著不甚風光的生活、做著不滿意的工作，想講真心話會結巴，觀眾就像俯看著自己生活片段。那人後來成為英雄，但因被抖出醜聞，遭致百姓的反感，反映著一個人紅不紅都來自於外界的一廂情願，每人投射自以為的偶像，那倒楣人只是反射鏡，跟他本身並沒有關係，這又是松本式的「困境」笑劇，這跟卓別林喜劇不同，卓式的「純粹愚笨」讓人誤以為「那人未進化如螻蟻」，無心理負擔，松本的喜劇笑點卻在於讓觀眾感覺「所幸不是我」的僥倖感，因為深知自己的愚笨或可避，但眾人找到目標物後的成群愚昧則無處可逃，這種無形恐懼，加深旁觀時的無限輕鬆感。
有人說，松本作品本質有點北野武電影，既不悲天，也不憫人，只是直盯事物本質瞧，盯到你覺得幾分像自己，然後啞然失笑，這是80年代日本新浪潮電影「日常生活傳奇化」的極致。松本的靈感起源於他的相聲，相聲是庶民的解藥，台灣卻冷門很久，於是我們難有松本人志，也沒有疏解自己困境的藝術，只有不停的以對品牌與偶像的移情作用，來浮誇自己的不平凡，紮紮實實陷入松本喜劇的困境中，只是沒有喜劇的距離，我們哪有自覺，就像赫拉巴爾的《中魔的人們》，當事人哪管喜劇悲劇，每天就忙著拍掉現實撲來的一臉灰，而這正是闌尾人生的精華所在。

Upcoming Voluntary Service Events/Opportunities:
hey all wonder if u or u hv frenz who are interested in volunteering to do 魔術/舞獅/粵曲/short drama/music or other performances for an upcoming event (團年飯) at our elderly center? (Or May Discuss related fees) The event is for 40-50 elders at the age 65 or above (half with dementia) and their families. It will be held 30th Jan (should be a friday night). We may also need volunteers to set up the dinner at a restaurant near the elderly center and to move elders around etc.
Plz feel free to contact me privately if you are interested for further discussion!
